Hi there! I'm Jessica, a Board Certified Oriental Medicine practitioner here in Stuart, Florida. My journey with Oriental Medicine began with a personal quest to manage my own anxiety. Looking for a natural approach, I discovered acupuncture, and it not only helped with anxiety but also improved allergies and digestion. Inspired by these positive changes, I embarked on a path to share this powerful medicine with others.

I hold a Master's degree in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor of Science degree, and I'm a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and a member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association.

My passion lies in helping people achieve balance in mind and body. I provide personalized care to address a variety of health concerns and look forward to working with you on your wellness journey.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture has been practiced for over 3000 years and has been proven to have many therapeutic affects on the body. Acupuncture helps by increasing the bodies natural healing abilities like increases the immune system, decreases inflammation and helps with pain. It is also very effective in improving mental issues like anxiety, depression and stress by calming the mind and body. It will help you focus and deal with the challenges that life throws at us on a daily basis. It is becoming more recognized in the medical field for its benefits in conjunction with other forms of medical care by accelerating the healing process after surgery and is even beneficial to get prior to having a procedure done.

Cupping and Gua sha

Cupping can be done with glass cups, silicone cups and bamboo cups. I use glass and silicone cups. It promotes the free flow of qi and blood in the meridians which reduces pain and inflammation. It is used for back, shoulder and leg pain. Gastrointestinal problems and asthma. It also is very relaxing!

Gua sha is popular for facial sculpting and reducing puffiness. It is used in Chinese medicine to release pathogens (colds and illness) from the body and move stagnation and reduce pain.

Herbal Formulas

Herbal formulas have been used for thousands of years to aid in illness and disease. There are hundreds of herbs that all have specific properties to release sickness, move stagnation, help with menopause, male issues like erectile dysfunction and many more problems.

Ear Acupuncture therapy

The ear is a micro system of the body. Along with body acupuncture, auricular acupuncture may be added to the treatment. I do Battle field acupuncture and the NADA protocol to help with pain and emotional support. Ear seeds may be applied to the ear so that the patient can stimulate them once they leave to prolong the therapeutic effect of the treatment.

Electrical Stimulation

E-stem may be added to the treatment to help with pain of the back, sciatic pain, shoulder pain and leg /arm pain. It works by connecting wires to needles and electrical impulses are sent to the muscles.
